Highway Position

- Tanks, aircraft, and helicopters can reach other maps via the highway - Trains via the map edge where the tracks exit the map - Boats via the map edge where the river exits the map

Fuel Costs

Using highways requires fuel. The amount of fuel needed depends on the fuel consumption of the vehicle using the highway. 20% of the amount is credited to the destination map upon arrival (so you don't have 0 fuel on the destination map and can't do anything). To use the highway, 1,000 times the vehicle's/helicopter's fuel consumption per second during normal travel is required. For example, for the Willy: 5,000 fuel. 1,000 fuel is credited to the other map upon the Willy's arrival.

Sufficient Military Centers
The destination map must have enough free military points. Military centers can expand these. If you have more military points than the military point maximum on multiple maps, the highway cannot be used. Solutions: build military centers/military administration or reduce military points by sending troops into combat.
Sufficient Group Limit
The destination map must have enough free group limit available to use the highway. If you have more groups than the group limit on multiple maps, the highway cannot be used. Solutions: build group limit expansion buildings, conquer more bases, or reduce groups by sending troops into combat or by merging groups.
Free Conquest Vehicle

If you don't have a base on a map and destroy an opponent's base defense, you receive a free conquest vehicle to capture the base. You can bring in a conquest vehicle via an allied airport (Cost: 250 gold)

New Maps are Protected
Highways to the two newest maps, as well as maps that have existed for less than 7 days, are blocked. Maps 1-10 have no highways. You cannot leave or enter here.
