- Tanks, aircraft, and helicopters can reach other maps via the highway
- Trains via the map edge where the tracks exit the map
- Boats via the map edge where the river exits the map
Using highways requires fuel. The amount of fuel needed depends on the fuel consumption of the vehicle using the highway. 20% of the amount is credited to the destination map upon arrival (so you don't have 0 fuel on the destination map and can't do anything). To use the highway, 1,000 times the vehicle's/helicopter's fuel consumption per second during normal travel is required. For example, for the Willy: 5,000 fuel. 1,000 fuel is credited to the other map upon the Willy's arrival.
If you don't have a base on a map and destroy an opponent's base defense, you receive a free conquest vehicle to capture the base. You can bring in a conquest vehicle via an allied airport (Cost: 250 gold)
